Friday night Ellie got up out of her bed and was running around upstairs. Instead of scolding her for getting up, we decided to let the girls have a sleepover in Abby's room. We totally expected it to be a complete disaster, much to our surprise it turned out to be the opposite! The girls giggled and sang Christmas songs, then there was silence. Naturally we went to check on them and we were shocked to find them both asleep!
Because they were so good the first night, we let them do it again on Saturday. Thinking that Friday was a fluke, we prepared ourselves again to have separate the girls and put an end to "sleepovers." The girls proved us wrong again. They have been sleeping together every night, and it is making me question if we should invest in bunk beds. Hmm...we shall see.
