Getting acquainted with her Calendar time journal. Each day she does activities with the date, time, temperature, and weather. The sheets are in protective sleeves so we can use a dry erase marker and reuse them.
Ellie also practices right along with Abby. She sits at the table the entire time! I'm impressed with her attention span.
Each day we do calendar time, reading, writing, and math. Ellie is working on shapes and colors right now. Abby is learning addition and subtraction.
For our writing activity Abby wrote two letters before going on our special field trip.
Of course I HAD to get some outside shots on this lovely day to document my girls on their first day of school.
Finally got a smile out of Ellie.

Abby was pretty excited about this. She was such a big girl waiting in line!
We also went to the library for their early reading program!
