Tuttles

The girls were really into the apples this year.  Much more than pictures.  As you can see...

They each got an apple pencil as a souvenir.

Biblical truth

After Ellie finishes reading a story to herself, she closes the book and says, "Amen."  I guess the girl can find biblical truth in whatever she reads.

My heart is full

Abby has been wanting to learn how to draw hearts.  So the other day I was teaching her how, and I drew a large one on her dry erase board.  She looked at it and said, "Mommy, I need to draw Jesus in that heart."

I think there was a chuckle in Heaven.

Picnic with Pooh and Friends

Precious.

The power of teamwork

I was simply in the kitchen cleaning dishes, thinking to myself, "It's too quiet."  When I rounded the corner I saw my girls working together loading all their stuffed animals on the "train."
They worked out a pretty good system.

They're off to PA to take their animals to Hershey Park.

First video game

Do you even call them video games anymore?  I don't know...

Anyways, Abby loves playing some princess app on Adam's phone.  Part of the game requires you to take a picture of yourself.  Then you have the outfit you're going to wear to the ball.

Adam and I don't want to constantly take pictures of Abby for her game, so she takes her own picture.  Ha!  It is usually her eye or nostril.

Sometimes others get a chance to go to the ball, too.

It is ridiculous.  Sometimes Adam scrolls through his camera, and there are countless photos like these!  She only is allowed to play it for 10 minutes on the weekend and sometimes at night, but she sure can take a lot of pictures in that short amount of time!

The Dentist/Thumb sucking

I am sad to report that Abby no longer sucks her thumb (although I know it is a good thing).  I don't know when she officially stopped, but I just noticed this week that she never did it.  Not even at night.  A very bittersweet milestone.

I went searching back through my pictures and these were the last pictures of her sucking her thumb.  They are the night before/day of her fourth birthday.

Unfortunately, she has replaced her habit with biting her nails...
