Baby Rabbits

Adam found seven abandoned baby rabbits in the middle of our backyard on Saturday, and instead of leaving them for the birds, we decided to keep them in our garage for safe keeping. After doing a little research on the Internet, Adam felt that they were ready to be released back into the "wild" Monday evening.

Run little bunnies!  You're free!

Too bad we found a  leg and a bloody mess this morning.  I guess releasing them back into the wild wasn't such a good idea...

Mommy and Daddy's Weekend in Nashville!

Don't we look so relaxed and happy in our pictures?  :)

It was fun to be a couple for a few days, but nothing is better than being with our girls!

Ellie is 9 months

Ellie has been very busy this month learning and growing!  She is such a big girl now.
  • Eating- She does NOT like being spoon fed, but she does like to feed herself finger foods!  She likes Rice Krispies, French toast made with egg yolks, egg yolks, pasta, pie (sugar cream at Easter), and little tastes of Mommy and Daddy's food from time to time.
  • Waving- she waves her little hand from side to side
  • Playing- Ellie plays contently with Abby for hours in the playroom.
  • Down to one nap a day...
  • She had her first hair trim (I think Abby was on her 5th at her age :)
  • Rolls across the floor and pivots around on her belly
  • Sits in the cart at the grocery store
  • Sits in high chairs at restaurants
  • Dances!
  • Loves being outside (Mommy will do better about sunscreen)
  • Pulls the blanket over her face and back down on her own to play peekaboo
  • When she wakes up in the morning she says, "Mom, Mama" instead of crying
  • Opens her hands when I clap them together
  • Responds to her name
  • Strong willed.  If she sees something she wants, Ellie will not rest until she gets it.

Easter

Oops! Too tight!

PIE!

Sorry, Ellie.

Usually I am spraying sunscreen on my children every other second, but unfortunately time got away from me on Saturday, and poor Ellie's cheeks suffered from it.

Abby is good at sharing with her "stister."
