Ellie sat perfectly still and quiet the entire time we were in the school room (you saw the teacher, though, so it isn't that hard to believe).
Abby is so pure and innocent, she doesn't even realize there is someone creepy spying on her through the window. Oh wait, that's Adam, who has the amazing ability to see all things and remain unnoticed.
