Ellie has been walking exclusively since December 4th.  How she gets around on those tiny little feet is a mystery, but it sure is adorable!

 Christmas at the Levengood's this year.  It looks lovely.  I can say that because my husband is the one who decorated.  Imagine him prancing around the mantel as he placed the ornaments in the garland.  It really happened like that...No joke.

 Abby and I worked on a few Christmas projects this year.  First was thumb print Christmas lights, then we made our lists for Santa into ornaments.  Simple and fun!

Thanksgiving 2012

 This year instead of sitting in a pumpkin seat, Ellie got to eat her meal at the kid table like a big girl!

 Meanwhile, Abby somehow graduated to the adult table...

 Ellie ate her entire Thanksgiving dinner by herself.  She hardly made a mess at all!  It was incredible to watch.

As I walked passed the playroom I heard Abby say to Ellie, "Here, Ellie, have a cup of cheer." Sure enough when I poked my head into the room Abby had handed her a little teacup.

I can proudly admit that I am nearly finished with all my Christmas shopping this year!  Most people on my list are easy to shop for, except for Adam.  In years past, I usually get him presents that he asked for specifically, and while he gets what he wants, I don't feel like there is much fun in watching him open something he is expecting.  This year, however, I have found a few things that he won't be expecting and I can't wait to have him open these gifts come Christmas morning.  That is if I can overcome my new obstacle.  Abigail.  Abby has loose lips! 

The girls and I took advantage of the glorious weather we had last week to run Christmas errands, and I made the mistake telling Abby that we were Christmas shopping for Daddy.  As soon as she saw Adam that evening she told him we went Christmas shopping for him.  Then my jerk of a husband (not really) asked her what we bought and she told him.  Fortunately she only told one gift and it was something that he does get every year, so nothing was really ruined.  I learned my lesson though!

I can't avoid shopping with Abby, and I don't want to.  She LOVES everything to do with Christmas.  This year she is very fond of nutcrackers.  I digress...well, the next time we went Christmas shopping Abby was in on Adam's gift again, so I decided I needed to throw her off track.  I told her that when daddy asks what he is getting for Christmas to tell him he is getting Jelly Beans and a back scratcher.  Sure enough Adam did ask Abby again, and her answer...
