"Oh, Mommy, if you only knew..."
But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Luke 18:16

Dada
Abby had been saying "Mama" for awhile. She would say it in between tearful outbreaks, when she was hungry or when she was hurt. However, once she learned to say, "Dada" she decided to use her word in an entirely different context: out of joy and adoration. Yes, Abby will crawl around the house singing her daddy's name in a sweet high pitch voice so tenderly and lovingly it almost makes you sick. I rarely get to hear the word mama anymore, and when I do it is usually because she is in distress... I guess Adam and I are really playing out our roles as parents. I am there to meet Abby's needs, and he is there to provide all the fun.
In all seriousness though, I am so grateful that Abby has a daddy that she loves and adores. I feel that it will make it all the easier for her to understand the love of her Heavenly Father one day.
